Horvat's Live Bait Inc. supplies our worms in square styrofoam boxes and retail packages.

There are two different types. Bulk Styrofoam boxes holds 500 worms. Retail Styrofoam square cups available in 1 dozen (12 worms) and 2 dozen (24 worms). Fishermen everywhere prefer the square cup to the basic round cup for many reasons:

The square styrofoam container keeps live bait fresh longer

for up to 8 weeks versus the round cup under same storage conditions. The package will resist crushing in your pocket and will fit better in most fishing vests.


This square design is also better for storage space in refrigerator units as it is easily stacked with support groves on every lid. The square shape helps prevent tipping or uneven balance, as the package is stacked in the retail store or in the customers fishing box. The flat square styrofoam lid allows for customized labeling to be easily applied.

Horvat’s Live Bait supplies live bait in the following quantities:

- 12 worms (1 doz.) are packaged by 50 square-cups per case
- 24 worms (2 doz.) are packaged by 40 square-cups per case
